Actor Dhananjaya fondly recalls his time in Mangaluru, where he worked as a techie at a prominent IT firm in Kottara for six months. When he received an invitation to the Dasara celebrations in Kudla, he gladly accepted, citing his nostalgia and interest in experiencing the area once more. During his leisure time in Mangaluru, Dhananjaya enjoyed watching Tulu dramas and Yakshagana performances, despite only having a basic understanding of the Tulu language. He emphasizes that art transcends language and values the connections it fosters. Dhananjaya appreciates how the coastal region has upheld its traditional art forms, believing that the essence of a place lies in its language, art, and culture. He considers himself fortunate to have witnessed the tiger dance and even participated in a performance on stage, reflecting on the importance of preserving art and culture for generations to come.
